“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”  The human person is made for communication—with God and with other people.  Language learning at Mount de Sales responds to each student’s desire to express herself and in turn to be understood by others. Through study of ancient languages such as Latin, the young woman is put in touch with the continuity of human experience throughout the ages.  Through study of modern Spanish and French, the young woman is able to enter into communion with the growing numbers of foreign language speakers not just around the globe, but also in our own country, cities, and neighborhoods.  In learning another language, Mount de Sales students are immersed in an exciting study of other cultures through vibrant and living classrooms that make language learning memorable.
