Private Tours

Private tours of the school can be scheduled through the Admissions Office. Tours last approximately 45 minutes but can be shortened to fit your schedule.

Shadow Days

Eighth-Grade Fall Shadow Days: Interested students are invited to shadow in eighth grade!  Eighth-grade shadow days will be offered September-December 2018. Eighth-graders and transfer students interested in shadowing during the Spring 2019 semester should contact Assistant Director of Admissions Robyn Levy at or 410.744.8498 ext. 276. Parents may request a shadow morning tour; please mention this to Robyn when requesting a shadow day.

Spring 2019 Seventh-Grade Shadow Days: 

Seventh-grade shadow days have occurred for this Spring and are no longer available. A shadow day may be scheduled during her eighth-grade year in Fall 2019.

Upcoming Events

A Morning at Mount de Sales for sixth- and seventh-graders and their parents

Now offering two dates so all families have a chance to attend!

An admissions event for sixth- and seventh-grade families. The girls will do activities with current Sailors while school leadership offers a talk for parents. Students and parents will reconvene for an overview of MDSA's mission and Q&A with Admissions before embarking on a Sailor-led tour of the school. Refreshments are provided. Attend one, some or all portions. Parents are welcome to attend without their daughters, and one parent is welcome to bring a group of girls.

Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Because the Archdiocese of Baltimore will administer standardized testing in early April, this event is for families who students are NOT enrolled in an Archdiocese of Baltimore school.

Archdiocese of Baltimore High School Fairs

Mount de Sales will attend many of the Archdiocese of Baltimore high school fairs!

The Archdiocese of Baltimore, in collaboration with our Catholic high schools, hosts fairs each fall at local Catholic elementary schools. All fairs begin at 6 p.m. with an open portion, where participating high school representatives host an exhibit table with admissions information. Individual break-out sessions follow at 7:10 p.m., where families can attend presentations from up to two high schools of choice.  The final break-out session concludes at 8:05 p.m.  Students of all ages enrolled in any school and homeschooled are welcome to attend. Registration is not required. with any questions.           "> with any questions.

Open House 2018

Sunday, November 4, 2018 from noon-3 p.m.

Last tour departs at 2:30 p.m.

Come explore Mount de Sales Academy on Sunday, November 4 from noon – 3 p.m. for our 2018 Open House.  After checking in at the gym, you can get to know us firsthand by seeing our facilities, meeting our faculty and learning about student life from Sailors themselves! Learn more about our 166-year legacy of Academic Excellence in the Catholic Tradition.

Join Athletics in the gym for Jeff Balistrere’s discussion of how to use athletics and spirituality to succeed in school and life. Jeff is a former DI athlete and author of God Doesn't Play Zone Defense, which Notre Dame Basketball Coach Mike Brey says is “energy for the soul.” Click here for more information about Jeff.

Parents can learn more about the application process from school administrators and take a tour with a student. Attend one, some or all portions. Refreshments are provided.
8:30-9 a.m. – Breakfast and meet and greet
9-10:30 a.m. – Remarks and Admissions Q&A
10:30-11:30 a.m. – Tour with a student

Please note: This event is geared toward parents currently in the application process. There will be A Morning at Mount de Sales event for sixth- and seventh-grade girls and their parents in the spring.
Space is limited! To RSVP, please send the following to Robyn Levy at :

• Name and school of the student you are representing

Parents who already registered: Please email Robyn whether of not you can attend on the new date.

MDSA Information Session During HSPT

Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

No RSVP needed!
High School Placement Test (HSPT): Check-in at 8:30 a.m. Test begins at 9 a.m.
Parent Information Session: 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Padre Pio Library.
Parents may attend this informal events while their daughters take the HSPT. Refreshments are provided.

Pre-registrations must be submitted by October 31. Those who attempt to pre-register after this date will be asked to register as a walk-in on November 4.
