UPDATE: Operation Welcome Home
If you are planning to attend OPERATION WELCOME HOME tonight, Wednesday, September 24, please note the following important updates:
St. Padre Pio’s Feast Day
Today is the feast day of St. Pius Pietrelcina, better known as Padre Pio. The late William Carrigan, a Mount de Sales benefactor, generously bestowed upon us this glass and piece of bread given to him personally by St. Pio. Referring to the wine in the glass and the bread, St. Pio said to Mr. Carrigan, "If you have these, you will never want." On the right are actual blood crystals from St. Pio, who bore the wounds of Christ in the form of stigmata.
Big Sister-Little Sister Day
Big Sister-Little Sister Day was all about making great memories with your “sister.” The juniors decorated the freshman lockers of their new little sisters and had a special luncheon to celebrate. What a fun MDSA tradition!
