Sister Thomas More, O.P, Religion Department Chair, began a PhD program in 2010 at the Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, England. In early March she submitted her dissertation entitled The Training of the Imagination in the Published Works of Conrad Pepler, O.P., and Gerald Vann, O.P.
Math Teacher Opening
Mount de Sales Academy seeks to hire a MATH TEACHER for the 2015-2016 academic year. Interested candidates should be competent professionals committed to the mission and vision of Mount de Sales Academy, possessing a Bachelor of Science degree in Math; in addition, a master's degree and certification is preferred.
MDSA’s Summer Schedule
Beginning the week of June 15 until Aug. 7, Mount de Sales Academy will be operating on a summer schedule. Limited staff will be working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Electronic and phone communications will be lighter over the summer. Construction and other projects will be happening on campus all summer, so please schedule all in-person visits in advance with the appropriate party.
Farewell, Mrs. McDowell and Mr. Reinckens
After years of dedicated service to Mount de Sales, Mrs. Colleen McDowell P’ 01 and Mr. Bernie Reinckens P’ 06 are retiring this year. Mrs. McDowell taught English at MDS for 19 years and Mr. Reinckens taught French for nine years. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to both of you for your devotion to our school and your commitment to the students. Good luck in your future endeavors!
