May Procession and Mary Crowning

May Procession and Mary Crowning

End-of-the-year traditions have already begun for our seniors.  Following Mass, the entire student body lined up outside by the statue of Mary and prayed the rosary.   This is a wonderful ceremony to honor Mary in the month of May.  Mount de Sales Girl Clairanne Chairs ’18, who was chosen by her classmates because she models Christian virtues and displays the values upheld by MDSA, crowned the statue of Mary. The seniors then proceeded to the Music Hall to enjoy a special afternoon tea with their mothers. It was a beautiful day for these memorable events.

“O Mary, we crown thee with blossoms today, Queen of the Angels and Queen of the May..."
