MDSA Junior Wins at Worlds!

Saoirse DeBoy ‘17 has been crowned a 2016 World Champion for her age group (16-17) at the World Irish Dancing Championships held March 20-27, 2016, at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, Scotland. Saoirse is a student of the Teelin School of Irish Dance in Columbia, Maryland. She and several MDSA students competed in this year’s international competition with approximately 5000 dancers from around the world.  Congratulations, Saoirse, this is a remarkable accomplishment and we are very proud of you!
