Strategic Plan Input Needed

Dear Parents, Students, Alumnae, Faculty, Staff and Friends of Mount de Sales,

As part of our commitment to excellence in Catholic education and with an eye to assuring the solid future of our school, the Board of Mount de Sales has begun the process of updating our strategic plan.  In the coming months, we will be working with all members of our school community to put together a plan that helps us set goals for where we would like Mount de Sales to be in the next five to seven years.  This plan will evaluate the current status of our Catholic identity, curriculum, facilities, personnel, public relations, governance, enrollment, development, and finances in order to identify areas where we can grow and improve.  By setting specific and measurable goals, we will consider our strategic plan as a living document that helps us chart a plan for future growth for this “Academy of every virtue.”

We are seeking substantive input from each of our constituencies so that the decisions we make regarding the strategic plan are based on broad and solid information.  After Christmas we will be posting a survey on our website.  We invite your carefully considered responses to this survey, recognizing that your feedback in this process will help Mount de Sales to be an even better school.

Over the past twenty-six years, the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia have been blessed to partner with dedicated Board members, faculty, staff and families to build the Academy into the fine school it is today.  With heartfelt gratitude we acknowledge the hard work and faith-filled commitment of everyone who has been a part of this sacred task.

Please pray for God’s blessings on our efforts to be faithful stewards of the mission He has entrusted to all of us at Mount de Sales.  We also look for your thoughtful input in the strategic plan in the coming months.  We appreciate your help, your dedication, and your feedback.  Thank you for all you do to benefit the girls and bring glory to God!

Sincerely in Our Lord,

Sister Anne Catherine, O.P.
