Technology Help Desk Specialist

This role encompasses providing basic support to students and faculty. The position is also responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. The Technology Help Desk Specialist will function as the first level of support for faculty and staff. Primary responsibilities are to provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by troubleshooting and resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the school’s IT Helpdesk. This position will be responsible for administration and internal support of the PCs, tablets, printers, and all other end user devices. From time to time this will involve end-user support, performing PC maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
