Anatomy and Biology Teacher

The Anatomy and Biology Teacher  plans, organizes, and implements the Mount de Sales Academy instructional program in a Catholic learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. This position requires professional certification or pursuit of certification and knowledge of technology programs that support instruction and student recordkeeping.  This is a full-time job during the school year and reports to the Vice Principal of Academics. Computer Science Teacher/Technology Help Desk Specialist

This role encompasses teaching one class of Introduction to Computer Science as well as providing basic support to students and faculty. The position is also responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. The Technology Help Desk Specialist will function as the first level of support for faculty and staff. Primary responsibilities are to provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by troubleshooting and resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the school’s IT Helpdesk. This position will be responsible for administration and internal support of the PCs, tablets, printers, and all other end user devices. From time to time this will involve end-user support, performing PC maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Receptionist (Part-time)

11:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Receptionist provides the greeting and monitoring of all individuals who access the Mount de Sales campus facilities.  Knowledge of Mount de Sales operations and key information is imperative to this position, since the receptionist is the first point of contact for all inquiries. This position also involves working knowledge of several administrative databases and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite. 

The Receptionist is expected to be a skilled professional person who works in close collaboration with the administration so that he or she may effectively fulfill the various roles that must be assumed during the course of the day.  Mount de Sales Academy seeks to offer a high quality program that is integrated with religious truths and values. The Receptionist supports the basic beliefs, values and traditions of the Catholic Church in communications, personal demeanor and lifestyle.  The Receptionist is expected to model Gospel values in his or her spirit of service.  Respect for the dignity of each person is of upmost importance.
