At Mount de Sales we are committed to the integral formation of our students, which includes their intellectual, spiritual, physical, and social growth. Some of the best learning opportunities can happen outside the classroom through participation in extracurricular activities like sports, fine arts, service and faith opportunities. Often it is there that our students solidify friendships, discover skills and interests they did not even know they had, and build confidence and a sense of responsibility. We offer a wide variety of activities and clubs so that every young woman has a chance to get involved, whether it is through choir or orchestra, as a member of an athletic team or a special-interest club, or by participating in many of the retreats or service projects provided through Campus Ministry.
“Beauty grows in you to the extent that love grows, because charity itself is the soul's beauty.”
- St. Augustine
For nearly 164 years, generations of students at Mount de Sales have been a part of venerable traditions like the Junior Ring Mass, Big Sister/Little Sister activities, and walking through the windows at graduation. Many of these traditions find their roots in the lively atmosphere of faith that has always been a part of life here, a faith that continues to be nourished through the sacraments and opportunities for service in the MDSA community and beyond.
