Sailbots Earn Reach Award at Robotics Qualifier

The MDSA Robotics team, the Sailbots, placed 15 out of 35 teams on Saturday at the First Tech Challenge robotics qualifier at the Park School. They won the Reach Award, which recognizes teams who promote STEM through outreach. The Sailbots hosted a Sumobot camp for middle school girls in November.

 

This year's challenge involves shooting oversized whiffle balls into a corner - a bit like robots playing two-on two basketball.
