Mission Statement

Mount de Sales Academy forms young women in the spirit of Saint Francis de Sales and in fidelity to the Sacred Scripture and the Sacred Tradition of the Roman Catholic Church through a college preparatory education that nurtures the whole person.  Anchored in faith, the community of Mount de Sales Academy is committed to academic excellence, lifelong learning, moral responsibility, service to others, and the dignity of the human person.

Annual Event Schedule

  • Eighth-grade shadow days and parent tours (Fall)
  • Archdiocese of Baltimore high school fairs (September-October)
  • MDSA Open House (first Sunday of November)
  • A Morning at Mount de Sales for eighth-grade parents (November)
  • MDSA information session during HSPT (December)
  • A Morning at Mount de Sales for sixth- and seventh-graders and their parents (Spring)
  • Seventh-grade shadow days and parent tours (Spring)
  • Events sponsored by departments, teams, or student organizations (School Year)

Private Tours

Private tours of the school can be scheduled through the Admissions Office. Tours last approximately 60 minutes but can be shortened to fit your schedule.

Shadow Days

  • Eighth-Grade Fall Shadow Days

    Eighth-grade shadow days will be offered September-December 2019. Parents may request a shadow morning tour; please indicate this when requesting a shadow day.

  • Seventh-Grade Spring Shadow Days

    Seventh-grade shadow days are a first look at Mount de Sales. During the spring semester of each school year, Mount de Sales will publish the select days for seventh-grade shadows. A more customized shadow day is available to eighth-graders each fall.

    Optional for parents: A visit and tour opportunity will be available during shadow days.
