Turf Athletic Field
We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new turf field in August 2025!
At the heart of the field is the Mount de Sales athletic anchor, a proud symbol of Sailor spirit and tradition. This state-of-the-art field will serve all of our athletic teams and physical education classes, providing students with an exceptional space to train, compete, and grow together.
The Shaw SpikeZone Pro synthetic turf, paired with a Brock Shock Pad, is designed to enhance performance while ensuring the safety and protection of our athletes. The turf athletic field, installed in 2013, is among the newest additions to our campus. Four varsity and JV sports utilize the field including field hockey, soccer, softball, and lacrosse. The innovative design did not sacrifice the traditional feel of the original field, which was created in 1982. Students, parents, and alumnae still enjoy the same view from the hill with piazza gathering space that builds community.
