Isabella Whittaker '20

Isabella Whittaker, Class of 2020, was a standout four-sport athlete in cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field, and swimming. She earned New Balance All-American honors in three relay events and was named both the Gatorade Maryland Track & Field Athlete of the Year and Baltimore Sun Athlete of the Year in 2020. Isabella was selected to the Sun All-Metro Team for indoor track (2019, 2020) and outdoor track (2019). She earned IAAM All-Conference honors in cross country (2019), indoor track (2018–2020), and outdoor track (2018, 2019). A dominant performer, she won 13 individual IAAM championship events and set 15 MDSA school records, all of which still stand. She went on to compete for the University of Pennsylvania, where she became the school record holder in the 400 meters. Isabella represented Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and currently competes professionally in track & field.
