"We aregreatly honored to be recognized as a Microsoft Showcase School for the seventh consecutive year. Mount de Sales set a clear mission in its use of technology to integrate digital tools as appropriate without losing the human dignity inherent in face-to-face interaction.
Teachers used Teams and other Office365 tools to creatively foster interpersonal engagement and real time collaboration. Those lesson strategies propelled academic learning and reflected how greatly we cherish human relationships in the classroom.
Last year, two of our Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts presented our teachers' strategies for purposeful integration of technology to a global community at the Microsoft Showcase School Summit. We are excited to continue to learn and innovate alongside our fellow Showcase Schools," shares Laura O'Friel '06 Vice Principal of Academic Affairs.
Additionally, three MDSA faculty/staff members have been selected as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts. Congratulations to the following (L to R):
Angela Romeo – Fine Arts Department Chair
Liz Johnson - Social Science Department Chair
Laura O'Friel – Vice Principal of Academics Affairs
